PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNICATORS

What is a Presbyterian Communicator?

The need for communicators is not only between the presbytery and the churches but equally as important between the churches and presbytery and between churches and churches. Presbyterians of Huntingdon Presbytery will benefit greatly from improved communication. Volunteers are stepping forward in an attempt to help develop more effective and focused communication to enable the churches and presbytery to be about the work of ministry and mission in our Lord's name. The whole idea is an off shoot of the work of the Communications Working Task Group.

Does your church have a Communicator?

Each church is encouraged to have one. Preferably, it would be an individual who has computer skills sufficient to sent and receive emails and the equipment and availability to do so. Of course, not every church has a computer but it is thought that most will have at least one member who does and who could be a communicator for his or her church. But, even if a church doesn’t have such an individual available they could, and should, still have a Communicator, i.e., a person who could communicate information to and from their church.
