UMBRELLA TEAMS
Oversees the work of Christian Education and providies continuing support and training for ordained, certified and commissioned church leaders, lay pastors and lay suplply preachers. Recognizing the authority and responsibilities of the Committee on Ministry the LUT works in relationship with COM and the Committee of Preparation for Ministry. The General Presbyter facilitates both groups through their respective chairs. The LUT consists of a nine member team including a minimum of five laity.Working Task Groups within the LUT can be formed which may include clergy and ministers and elders, deacons and other laity as coopted or appointed the the LUT or Presbytery Council. The chairperson of the LUT is:
Provides continuing support, training and leadership for churches and Presbytery in the ares of discipleship, redevelopment, mission and stewardship. The DUT oversees the presbytery work of Church and Community, Evangelism and Spiritual Enrichment and Interpretation and Support. It consists of nine members including a minimum of five laity. WTG's can be formed to carry out specific responsibilities as indicated above under the LUT. The chairperson of the DUT is:
Provides oversight for the financial, legal and constitutional well being of the Presbytery. It consists of a nine member team of which four are ministers and five are laity all are also Trustees. Duties of the AUT are in the areas of research and consultation, Records and Overtures and all funtions of the Board of Trustees. WTG's can be formed to carry out specific responsibilities as indicated above under the LUT.
