While here within our Presbytery
our six Partners visited over twenty
Churches. They lived in the homes
of many of us, ate meals, prepared
meals in our homes and experienced
a wide variety of cultural, or tourist,
activities. Of course, there was shop-
ping, but also included were visits to
the Amish community, commercial
and small industrial sites and social
agencies across the Presbytery.

The Pahk 5 Nan/Huntingdon
Presbytery Partnership has a long
history of partner exchange visits.
During the past 17 years at least 5
different visits by Thai to our Pres-
bytery have been made and at least
5 groups from the Presbytery have
visited Nan.

The six partners who were with us
in October 2006 were all lay leaders
of Prasittiporn Church in the city
of Nan. The group included a nurse,
a supervising teacher, two retired
school officials and retired business
leaders. They are active at home
in their community, the Pahk
(Presbytery), and their local church.
Evangelism in Nan involves support
of small rural churches, HIV/AIDS
programs and taking the gospel to
mountain villages such as Huay Loy.
