The Mount Union Presbyterian Church will celebrate the 100th birthday of the current church building on June 28, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. This date and time are exactly 100 years from the original dedication of the church building. The service (in the sanctuary) will follow the original program, using the same music and scripture readings. The public will be invited to attend this special service. Following the service, a luncheon will be served in the social room. Tickets will be sold in advance for this meal and may be purchased closer to the date of the service. An historical booklet about the construction of the church building (including pictures) is currently being printed and will be available for purchase. The Centennial Committee looks forward to greeting old members, present members and interested people at this Birthday Celebration.
